Integrated post-acute care management services provided by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, tango and WellSky^®

As of May 4, 2026, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is working with tango and WellSky to manage post-acute care for BlueAdvantage (PPO)^SM and BlueCare Plus Tennessee members. WellSky’s technology capabilities combine with tango’s skilled home health expertise to create a fully integrated post-acute care program. It’s designed to streamline and coordinate a seamless member and provider experience.

tango and WellSky are the delegated managers for skilled home health and post-acute care benefits for BlueAdvantage and BlueCare Plus Tennessee members. They’ll oversee services across skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term acute care settings. They’re also responsible for utilization management, ensuring timely prior authorizations and continued stay requests, efficient transitions of care and a smooth experience for providers and members.
