Prior authorizations for post-acute care managed by WellSky®
Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Michigan and Blue Care Network have contracted with WellSky to manage prior authorization requests for post-acute care for Medicare Advantage members. This includes requests for skilled nursing facility, inpatient rehabilitation facility, and long-term acute care hospital services.

WellSky PAC Advance provider portal
Use the provider portal to access WellSky’s utilization management system to:
- Start an authorization
- Review status of an existing authorization
- Upload clinical documentation to an existing authorization
Michigan providers: Access the WellSky PAC Advance portal through Blue Cross and BCN’s provider portal (availity.com).
If you have direct access to the WellSky provider portal, sign in to the WellSky PAC Advance portal
