Post-acute care prior authorizations managed by WellSky®
Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Michigan and Blue Care Network have contracted with WellSky to manage prior authorization requests for post-acute care for Medicare Advantage members. Acute care providers can submit prior authorization requests for skilled nursing facility, inpatient rehabilitation facility, and long-term acute care hospital services.
WellSky users have the ability to process authorizations directly within their native WellSky CarePort discharge planning solution.
