Integrated post-acute care management services provided by tango and WellSky®
tango and WellSky have partnered to provide an innovative post-acute care management program that uses the leading technology and service capabilities of WellSky and the skilled home health enablement expertise of tango. This tango-WellSky partnership streamlines post-acute care coordination and delivers a cohesive provider and member experience across the post-acute continuum.
Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Michigan and Blue Care Network have contracted with tango to manage skilled home health care and with WellSky to manage prior authorizations for post-acute care (skilled nursing facility, inpatient rehabilitation facility and long-term acute care hospital stays).
Effective January 5, 2026, WellSky will manage prior authorizations for post-acute care stays for Medicare Plus BlueSM and BCN AdvantageSM members.
Effective March 2026, tango will manage the home health network, coordinate referrals, manage prior authorizations and process claims for Medicare Plus Blue and BCN Advantage members.
